2026 Toledo train collision

[edit]

Assistance from Spanish speaking editors in improving the 2026 Toledo train collision article is sought. Also, are there any editors in the province of Toledo that can get any photos for use in the article? 14:44, 28 October 2026 (UTC)

Name of country in infobox

[edit]

Say if a person was born in "Madrid, Spain", is it ever policy to either link Spain to the government that was in charge at the time, or even write it in full? Personally, I find this to be a bit WP:CRUFTy. Any globe or atlas called the country "Spain" when it was a constitutional monarchy, absolute monarchy, republic or dictatorship. Most people have no connection to their government, especially not the one from when they were born. I would feel that this goes a step beyond indicating that someone was born in another country; for example an Austrian born in "Vienna, Germany" is different to a Spaniard born in Spain under a previous government.
