Wording of the introduction

[edit]

If you really want users to contribute to this page, you should make the introduction unbiased:

  • VE is probably the future: thks for adding probably but it's still biased. I think for many users it won't be their future as I doubt we get to a point where VE can do everything that can be done in wikitext, and as efficient.
  • does not seem to be particularly constructive: that's your opinion, and clearly not shared by many participating in the RFC who think that the VE team is simply not listening to their concerns (opt-in/opt-out, permanent option to disable VE, nowiki, ...)

Where and how do I ask for new features

[edit]

I'd like to make a proposal that the visual editor support WP:short cites. Where do I do that?

(BTW I am the original author of the template sfn (used in 200K articles) and wrote much of the documentation and have concrete ideas about what this should like.) CharlesTGillingham (talk) 18:35, 27 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
