Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted the following procedure instructing administrators regarding Arbitration Enforcement blocks: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes"). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."

As far as my edits are concerned, they are not disruptive, neither do they break any Wikipedia policy. Please clarify if the sole reason for this block was editing as a non-ECP user (which I admit was my fault). If so, further clarify if this block will affect my profile once I get ECP status. Your edits were disruptive, and did break Wikipedia policy. You have been warned several times that you cannot edit in WP:ECR topics until you are extended-confirmed; nevertheless, you continued to edit in those topics. -- asilvering (talk) 04:33, 6 May 2026 (UTC)

Some advice

Now that you are unblocked, I think it would be a good idea for you to practice what you preach and stay away from WP:CT/SA related articles until you are extended confirmed in ~60 edits from now. This will help you to be almost certain that you don't veer into the ECR topics of WP:CT/CASTE and WP:CT/IMH until then, and avoid more blocks and/or other arbitration sanctions for this reason. If you want to look for ways to help improve Wikipedia, take a look at the Task Center. Feel free to disregard this advice and continue editing South Asia articles, but keep in mind that WP:ARBECR restrictions on Indian military history and caste-related topics still apply to you until you are extended confirmed. Please do not revert or undo the edits made by other editors when your changes are reverted. Instead, use the talk page to discuss how the page can represent consensus among the editors involved. Here is some advice on how to do this. If discussions get stuck, you can request a third opinion, ask for help at a relevant noticeboard, or seek dispute resolution.

Edit warring can result in being blocked from editing, especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts within 24 hours on one page. Undoing any other editor's work, in whole or in part, involving the same or different material, is a revert. You can still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not violate the three-revert rule should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
