- @Ldm1954: WP:FINDLINK is a great tool; it works well, especially when the name is given in an article's text. Since citation templates usually require parameters such as
|author1-link=I generally launch exact phrase searches on the English Wikipedia's own search bar. I find that I am able to avoid false positives, avoid breaking citation templates, and look for precisely punctuated, exact author names such as "Saldin, DK" and "Saldin, D. John G. Capers Wikidata link
[edit]Hello! @Vycl1994, I noticed that you linked my article, John G. Capers, to Wikidata in Q140880374, which I thank you for that. However it seems that there is already another Wikidata article on Capers named John Gendron Palmer Capers (Wikidata number: Q138317753). His birthdata and deathdate are the same as the article and the Wikidata article linked Lilla Trenholm Capers as his spouse. Hi. In your edit on this article you added Israeli as his nationality. There's no source online that confirms his nationality, which is why I had not added it. His graduation is at an Israeli university but he has been in Australia since 2003. It cannot be said with certainty what his nationality is. Can you please remove Israeli in the lead when you have time? The following categories are also incorrect: 20th-century Israeli historians, 21st-century Israeli historians, 20th-century Israeli philosophers, Israeli expatriates in Australia, 21st-century Israeli philosophers.
