Congratulations to promotion and award! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:17, 31 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you both! UpTheOctave! • 8va? 18:51, 31 August 2026 (UTC)
- Allow me to add to the pile! :) Looking forward to giving this a read during my break tomorrow. —TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 05:00, 1 September 2026 (UTC)
- @TechnoSquirrel69, I forgot to ask, how did you find it? UpTheOctave! • 8va? 12:21, 17 September 2026 (UTC)
- It had slipped my mind to reply here. As expected, it was a smooth and very satisfying read. I must admit that I know very little about late-20th-century art music, and even less about musical pedagogy, so this was a very interesting look into that world! —TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 17:54, 19 September 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reading, and your help with the headers! UpTheOctave! • 8va? 00:56, 20 September 2026 (UTC)

Belated ping for Toby Fox review
[edit]Hi Ellie, you pinged me on the 3rd to remind you about the Toby Fox FAC review. I unfortunately disappeared off-wiki from then until now, but here's your reminder.
Specifically, I'd like for you to review what's on the ongoing draft. Everything above the "Free space" section is the main text/my work, everything below it is what other editors have created. It's entirely up to you if you want to do the whole thing or just the main text. Basically, I'm gonna try to merge & refine everything as cleanly as possible before it gets merged to mainspace.
Note that "Early life" and "Undertale (2015)" are the only two sections I'd say are reasonably complete, but still need some adjustments done. Sorry about the mess in there! WALKKKKK (talk) 18:26, 12 September 2026 (UTC)

93rd Anniversary CMLL event page
[edit]I was created the CMLL 93rd Anniversary of CMLL for upcoming this day September 18 2026 Theitntnlwrestlingguy12 (talk) 18:35, 18 September 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Theitntnlwrestlingguy12, is there something you're trying to ask me? UpTheOctave! • 8va? 21:25, 18 September 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, So, the 93rd Anniversary CMLL is coming tonight September 18, 2026 and I want to make the draft page be on the main full page again just before the event starts at 10:00 PM EDT (8:00 PM CST), please Theitntnlwrestlingguy12 (talk) 23:02, 18 September 2026 (UTC)
- I see what you mean. I declined the draft as it had no sources: Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that the draft will get reviewed before the event. The backlog for reviews AfC is currently around three weeks; while I would like to help, I am uncomfortable working with Spanish language sources, and generally do not review on demand. In the future, I would advise creating drafts in advance rather than on the day of the event, in order to prevent future upset and allow our volunteer reviewers a reasonable time period to get to your drafts. Thanks, UpTheOctave! • 8va? 23:23, 18 September 2026 (UTC)

Bach composed a cantata for today's feast, performed 300 years ago. This time the main page has it on the right date. I nominated it for GA ;) - Also waiting for a review: Maureen Jones (on WP:ITNN), - someone said the article isn't good enough for the main page. We could change that! Already arrived there: Bryan Kelly and his fun Magnificat. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:54, 29 September 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for the Kelly! I haven't heard from him since my beginner days at the piano. Seems Jones is getting on okay at ITN, so I'll let those who are more familiar with the article push it through. I'm hoping to finally get some work done on Copland, but I might have some time for BWV 19: if no-one snatches it up by the mid of October I'll take a look. October music

I brought more music to the main page ;) - check out my story: Rossini was in Wildbad, and began to compose again. A short video] shows how his music is kept alive there by a festival at historic places. - Someone snatched BWV 19, but I'll get BWV 98 there, maybe today. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:21, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Gerda. Thank you for the Rossini: did you know he composed for winds? There's two variation sets for clarinet (most only know the more famous 1819 set; there's also a 1809 set), a quartet, and (maybe?) a bassoon concerto, none of which have articles. Not that I have time to write them: I'm unfortunately unprecedentedly busy in real life, as one can see from my paltry edit count this month. Hopefully will be free-er around Christmas, but this does mean that I'll have to pass on 98. Hope you're well. UpTheOctave! • 8va? 12:28, 27 October 2026 (UTC)
