Max de Ligt moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Max de Ligt. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. • Quinn (talk • it/its) 12:20, 16 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

addressed and fixed ( not deleting it, as I hope archiver will pick this up in 30 days?!)

Assuria N.V moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Assuria N.V. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Christian Farmers and Gardeners association when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Drafts

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Tiknova, I'm Bearcat. Please note that pages in draft space, such as Draft:Michael Carbonara are not allowed to be categorized alongside finished articles in mainspace, per WP:DRAFTNOCAT. The page must stay out of any categories so long as it is outside mainspace, and this is not an optional rule that you're free to disregard or ignore.

You can provisionally list categories in your draft without affecting content categories by using one of the methods described here. Categories may be present on the page only in disabled form, and never in enabled form, because the page is a draft and not a finished mainspace article.

As the page has had to be pulled out of categories three times in less than three hours, do not readd it to categories again, because draft and sandbox pages are not allowed to be in content categories. Note as well that there can be consequences for disruption if it doesn't stop, such as page protection or deletion and/or the temporary or permanent suspension of your editing privileges. Bearcat (talk) 16:02, 19 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

My bad, I thought it was a problem on my end, didn't notice you "fixing" it due to it being in draft.
Thank you. Tiknova (talk) 16:16, 19 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

[edit]
Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, MSK, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for organizations and companies. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, excluding routine coverage like product launches, staff appointments, or financial reports and listings in databases or listicles;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Assuria N.V to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.

Unattributed translations

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from nl:Jos Leijdekkers to Jos Leijdekkers. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. JTtheOG (talk) 07:24, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

I'm noticing you've once again begun committing the same copyright violations as before. JTtheOG (talk) 07:25, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
You noticed wrong, since I have not translated it from Dutch. Tiknova (talk) 07:43, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
if it were a translation the article would be longer and more detailed. Tiknova (talk) 08:01, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Let's see. The Dutch version starts with:
Jos Leijdekkers werd geboren in Breda en groeide op in Prinsenbeek. In zijn jeugd wisselde hij diverse keren van school vanwege problemen en kwam hij in aanraking met justitie. Zijn vader was actief in de drugshandel en bouwde contacten op in de zeehaven van Rotterdam en die van Antwerpen. Jos gebruikte dit netwerk en breidde het uit.
which, according to Google, roughly translates to
Jos Leijdekkers was born in Breda and grew up in Prinsenbeek . During his youth, he changed schools several times due to problems and came into contact with the justice system. His father was active in the drug trade and built contacts in the seaports of Rotterdam and Antwerp . Jos used this network and expanded it.
Let's examine the English version:
Leijdekkers was born in Breda and grew up in Prinsenbeek. During his youth, he attended several schools and came into contact with the criminal justice system early in life. Leijdekkers's father reportedly had ties to drug trafficking networks and contacts in the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, which Leijdekkers later expanded for his own alleged activities.
This is clearly a translation, which is a derivative work. It doesn't matter if you didn't steal the whole article. You must provide proper attribution, or you may be blocked from editing in the future. Thank you, JTtheOG (talk) 18:28, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Not translated but yes the text is quite similar ( same source), I will keep it in mind.
thank you Tiknova (talk) 18:34, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
No, it's the exact same content in nearly the exact same sentence structure using the exact same source, just translated with a few words switched around. JTtheOG (talk) 18:40, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Once again, you're allowed to copy someone else's work. You just have to provide attribution. JTtheOG (talk) 18:40, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
You can even write your own version of an article (with no translation), and then add one specific edit with translated work and add attribution just in that specific edit. JTtheOG (talk) 18:42, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Attempting to circumvent salting

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Tiknova. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Tyler santangelo, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie talk 14:49, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

I do not know the person I just came across his name through Freud's_Last_Session ( 14 sunset) and a quick google and GPT later found out that other than being a producer he is also an art dealer, which seemed interesting, but not enough to make an article about him. Hence the Draft:, since usually I just create articles instead of using the wizard. Tiknova (talk) 14:58, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
That doesn't explain why you attempted to circumvent the salting of Tyler Santangelo by trying to create Tyler santangelo with a lowercase 's.' Your edit history demonstrates proficiency in English and capitalization rules. If you are being paid by the subject, please inform them that we have other measures beyond salting to prevent them from using Wikipedia to promote themselves. OhNoitsJamie talk 15:07, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Ohnoitsjamie: Tyler Santangelo and Michael Carbonara (which they moved to draftspace and then moved back to delete the protections on the previous redirect) are both articles tied to the paid-editing ring/sock farm stemming from User:Benson420. Best, GPL93 (talk) 15:10, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have no idea who Benson420 is I have seen his name in the history of Michael Carbonara but did not know that Tyler and Michael are made by the same person, but even then I have edited and created multiple articles over the last month, surely there is some overlap. But agree with you that it is suspicious, and I get where you are coming from. Tiknova (talk) 15:29, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Couldn't type out their pages since I am being blocked by the automated filter. Tiknova (talk) 15:30, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Since that is how I had typed it out in my Text editor, so copy pasted it in the article wizard.
Also not trying to undermine myself but I do make mistakes in english just look at my last revision in Max_de_Ligt "Career" is spelled as "Carreer" in the edit summary. Tiknova (talk) 15:20, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm sure it's just a crazy coincidence that you attempted to resurrect two of the three articles created by Benson420, none of which are translated articles from Dutch Wikipedia. In any case, this has been helpful; it gives more more material to add to our edit filters.OhNoitsJamie talk 15:34, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, since I have not interacted with Benson420, nor any potential accounts other than seeing the name in the history of Michael. I do not have a COI either since I do not know them other than what can be searched by anyone online. I also do not have any stake in whether those articles are made or stay up since I am not being paid to edit here.
I am also not from United States/Florida for that matter.
Also not ALL my articles are translations of Dutch Wikipedia. Translations were done because just because there was nothing on EN Wikipedia for those subjects and it was already pretty much complete ( like the cabinet formations, nothing new to addd), Football players are just to give it a start. Edit: Ok, Keep up the good work ( responding to the last part "In any case, this has been helpful; it gives more more material to add to our edit filters") Tiknova (talk) 15:46, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Question: If I had created/tried to create the Article with the correct capitalization would there be a prompt like "You cannot create ... because its been blocked" or similar ?
Or would it be more like, there is a draft of this at DRAFT:EXAMPLE ( the message that you get when there is an existing draft of an article you are currently writing.) Tiknova (talk) 16:18, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Sorry again..
Question: It it possible to remove a Page creation prompt?
When searching for tyler ( or check link below)
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=tyler+santangelo&title=Special%3ASearch&ns0=1&searchToken=ehlq66pmazti1c86p06aslcns
it gives the option to create the page but only Tyler is in capitalized but Santangelo is not.
Not saying that is how I tried to create my draft, but it is an option. It doesn't give the proper Captial Firstname Capital Last name option. Just First name Capital ( first letter) , Last name in lowercase.Tiknova (talk) 16:28, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

There is no plausible explanation other than UPE that you recently recreated/attempted to recreate two targets of the same UPE farm. Had you been honest about this when questioned you probably would've received a warning instead given your previous editing history. OhNoitsJamie talk 14:13, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
