Currier island
[edit]A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Currier island, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 172.162.26.213 03:52, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Eugeny Prudchyenko
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Eugeny Prudchyenko, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – John M Wolfson (talk • contribs) 21:19, 20 August 2019 (UTC)

The page Eugeny Prudchyenko has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appeared to be about a real person or group of people that did not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Did you have any COI with this article? I realize it was back in 2011, when our rules were less stringent. DGG ( talk ) 22:40, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
Hi DGG, my wife worked there. Does that count? TDuVal (talk) 22:35, 2 January 2020 (UTC)
- not really. Except that you might want to say it on the talk p. sopeople don't wonder why you're interested. I'dsuggest you don't say who it was, just " I know someone who worked there" or something of the sort. It's better to keep some privacy DGG ( talk ) 01:00, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

Katie Notopoulos moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Katie Notopoulos. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and the article needs more content overall, content categories and an article description. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ArthurTheGardener (talk) 11:32, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
