3) Please do not just ask "why did you decline my article?". The answer is given in the decline message on the draft. If you need clarification beyond that, or have questions about the linked policies then please ask away.

4) Please don't request me to re-review your article unless I've specifically asked you to do so. If you feel it's fixed then resubmit. AfC is incredibly backlogged and someone will get to it when they can. This can take 4 weeks or more.

I welcome anyone to comment or reply to others on my page, but please be kind and if their post breaks one of the above four rules, please ignore them as well.

@Kyethepie21 (talk page stalker) AfC reviewers do not do re-reviews on request, and most reviewers avoid reviewing the same draft twice to make sure it gets a fair re-review by an entirely neutral party. In addition, Wikipedia does not work to any deadline; there is no hurry to create any article here. In fact it's generally better to write articles later rather than sooner to increase the breadth and depth of coverage available about the topic. As the template says, the current wait for a review can be 3 weeks or more. Please be patient and edit something else in the meantime. Athanelar (talk) 22:17, 22 September 2026 (UTC)

I would like to apologize as I was not aware of the rules around drafts. Im just a little antsy, as this really isn't an article that ever should've been put to draft as it automatically reaches notability. I do also disagree with this being something worth waiting on, all the primary information on the 2026 Brownlow now exists as it is a single awards night, 90% of people wanting to ever look at this article will want to look at it in the next week at most, for the sake of information, it really should be published soon. There is very much a hurry for this article. I understand that the reviewer will not look at it again, and I will apologise but if this is the case I really hope someone can look at it ASAP. Again, there is no hurry for any article on Wikipedia. We have no interest whatsoever in how many people will want to read the article now or in the future or in whether we're going to 'miss the hype', and I'm unsure why you do unless you have a particular vested interest in promoting it, which doesn't seem to be the case. I'm not sure how much clearer I can be that yes, we absolutely would. Wikipedia's philosophy is to do things right, not to do them fast. I encourage you to read the page I linked a few comments ago; WP:RUSHCREATE.

We're not the news. Our objective isn't to get information out fast and capture attention. We don't need to 'break the story.' We're an encyclopedia, and our goal is to build the best encyclopedia we can in accordance with our ethos and our policies and guidelines. There was a very high profile internet series called Battle for Dream Island which went years without having an article, because it simply didn't have the kind of coverage we require at the time. The question "Why doesn't BFDI have an article?" was so persistent that we literally have a page dedicated to it. I give you this example to illustrate the fact that we're really not concerned at all with how subjectively important a topic may be. We take our time and it gets published when it gets published; only as and when it's up to standards.

It is worth saying that you're an autoconfirmed (actually by now extended confirmed) user, meaning the AfC process isn't mandatory for you at all. If you're confident that your article meets the requirements then there's absolutely nothing stopping you from moving it to mainspace by yourself; you don't have to wait for a review. I really encourage you to heed what I've said above anyway, though, and since it's already been declined once just be patient and wait for another review; because there really, seriously, actually is no rush. I think there may be a misunderstanding here. I am not the subject of the draft. The person described in the article passed away a couple of months ago. I am from the same town, knew him personally, and he was one of my teachers.

What I meant is simply that the information in the draft was compiled and summarized from the available published Persian-language sources and interviews about him. How the wording was summarized is not really the issue; what matters for a Wikipedia article is whether the content is accurate, written neutrally, and supported by reliable published sources.

Note that Wikimedia projects are self-governing. This means each language's Wikipedia have different rules, and the editorial standard on English Wikipedia may be very different from the Persian one.

The content was summarized by me based on the information available in the sources cited in the references. I first prepared the Persian version from those Persian-language sources, which has also been published on Persian Wikipedia, and then translated that content into English for the English draft. I did use AI tools to help revise and improve the English translation and wording. What I meant in my previous response was that no biographical information or factual content was created by AI; the factual content came from the cited sources.

Hi Sulfurboy, I was wondering why you had accepted this article at AfC. The sources are all contemporary newspaper reports dating back to the 19th century, and so primary sources. recently I have uploaded an article , you mentioned that the refernce section is a mess also stating that this might be due to LLM use . What is the source you took to claim that, I am new to the artcle drafting, I am learning from the first and because of the unfamilier reference style of the wikipedia i mistakely added written as well as from the cite section which created a mess, I request you to respond based on evidence not just random because someone earlier had posted it claiming to be LLM generated, if there were areas you can guide you have right but without proof claiming to be LLM is not a normal behaviour a human shows to wards person who wants to be familiar with the site. Dear @Sulfurboy: -The article is not created using a chatbot. It is the translation of article about the same person in Kannada Wikipedia - ಟಿ. ಆರ್. ಅನಂತರಾಮು. I tried using Content Translation Tool but it did not allow me to translate into English. Then I manually translated the article into English from Kannada. I did make use of Google Translate at some places, but did not use the output given by Google Translate as it is. I manually corrected the Google translated text and then used it. As you are aware, this is the method used while using Content Translation Tool which has Google Translate as one of the translation engines. I'm following up on the point you made with the article in my sandbox, stating the reference titles did not match the headlines. I have fixed that issue now and all titles match the headlines on e.g. Süddeutsche Zeitung, Resmusica, Merkur etc. Where necessary I translated into English.
