Draft:Athenebrunnen
[edit]Thank you for continuing to work on Draft:Athenebrunnen. I'm sure that it can become an article pretty soon. But three notes. First, you can put external links (links to pages outside Wikipedia) within references (between <ref> ... </ref>, and indeed you're encouraged to do so; but you may not do so within the regular text of an article. Secondly, you can't use Wikipedia, or websites that are similar to Wikipedia, for references. And thirdly, I can't think of any reason for any citation of a website that's just a derivative of Wikipedia. So the reference you've just added to "de.zxc.wiki" will have to go. -- Hoary (talk) 12:18, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

- Hello, please use English. --Serols (talk) 12:44, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from el.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 03:31, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot! I'm the one who wrote the article in the other wikipedia except in Spanish and Finnish ! Projethomere (talk) 03:37, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:33, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
Wikipedia in Ancient Greek
[edit]Hi! I noticed that you are familiar with Ancient Greek, and I wanted to ask if you could help us improve the Ancient Greek Wikipedia, which we have been reviving over the past few months. You can see the recent changes here. --Caro de Segeda (talk) 11:20, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message. At the moment, there is no Wikipedia for Ancient Greek, as there is for Latin. Here is a trial portal from Wikimedia incubator with few topics - Ancient Greek should also be added to Wikipedia as is the case for Latin. I also record books in Ancient Greek. For example, here is the classical literature website Arrête ton char, which features my recording of the first Rhapsody of the Odyssey. I am currently working on another author, but it is still in the early stages.

- On this page in French, they provide instructions for adding a new language to Wikipedia. A teacher or group of teachers would need to take this on seriously.

- Wow, nice job! It is good that the text is read slowly for beginners to be able to clearly understand it.
- I was referring to the Wikimedia Incubator project. We are trying to gather a community (for now we are three people) in order to get it approved. It would be great if you could contribute there. Caro de Segeda (talk) 13:16, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your appreciation of my work, that's very kind of you!
- For the Odyssey, I recorded all the rhapsodies as well as the Apology of Socrates and other works. Here are all of my recordings.
