BLP sources tag on Jon Shenk

[edit]

Hello MrsSnoozyTurtle — I'm writing regarding the sourcing and BLP concerns you raised on the Jon Shenk article back in September 2021, including the {{BLP sources}} tag. I'm the subject of the article and am editing with a disclosed conflict of interest (username Guzmantostada).

Since then, a number of independent citations have been added throughout the Career and Awards sections, and I've submitted a Talk-page edit request that adds further sourcing (Variety, the Peabody Awards, the Television Academy, oscars.org, RogerEbert.com, and others). Spintendo, who reviewed my request, suggested I check with you directly since you're best placed to know whether the issues that prompted the tag have been addressed.

Would you be willing to take a look and, if you agree the sourcing concerns are resolved, remove the tag — or let me know what would still need improving? The relevant discussion is here: Talk:Jon Shenk.

Thank you for your time. Guzmantostada (talk) 01:21, 12 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

MrsSnoozyTurtle hasn't edited Wikipedia since 2023. I reviewed the page and concluded that those five-year-old tags no longer apply so I removed them. I also want to thank you for disclosing your COI. If you have any further issues please feel free to ask for my help on my talk page. --Guy Macon (talk) 03:01, 12 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
