Hello I appreciate your monitoring pages and protecting vandalism and all that, but I think my additions to the local city pages have all been very valuable. The crime section i added to Bridgeport is very notable history and i sourced it all well, I am not sure why you would not think it belonged there. I am not trying to be a jerk, I am trying to make the pages legit better and more informative. It is good history. I went and read up on the subject and I now better understand why you removed the things you removed. @Vitorperrut555: Look at it's location on Google Maps. It's well outside the city. This map is published by the city, and shows the same boundaries as the Google Map. The restaurant is well outside the city. You're looking at the mailing address, which can be up to 20 miles outside the city limits. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:22, 15 August 2026 (UTC)

Hostile edit summaries

Hi, Magnolia677, I noticed a few of your edit summaries might go against WP:CIV, especially when you revert other's edits. This edit summary reverting my edit was very snarky. I did not see the small texts on the signs (which was my fault), and just letting me know the signs had the PSL's name on them was enough, you did not need to say "Is the sky blue?" I noticed this in a few of your edit summaries like these ones. I'm not disagreeing with your edits, most of them are very helpful, just try to follow WP:CIV. @Magnolia677: Regarding your 8 August revert, your edit summary cited "non-notable entries," but the revert removed the entire alumni list, including individuals who have their own established, independent Wikipedia articles.

Could you clarify the basis for removing all of the entries rather than only those you considered non-notable? If there are separate sourcing or list-inclusion concerns with particular names, I think those entries should be evaluated individually rather than the entire list being removed under a general non-notability rationale.

Reverts to Navajo cities

Hi- I am struggling to understand some of your reverts. One in particular, to Dilkon, Arizona, removed the Navajo name of the city, even though that name is the title of the entry in nv.wiki. MOS:FOREIGNEQUIV does not require citations for foreign equivalents to proper nouns. Further, the state of Arizona maintains a record of these names at https://azmemory.azlibrary.gov/. Before making allegations of stalking (WP:HOUNDING) against another user, it would be wise to gather sufficient evidence that said user is following you across Wikipedia clearly with the "aim of creating irritation, annoyance, or distress". User contribution pages exist for many reasons, one of which is to easily determine if a user's problematic edits are being reflected on other pages. Furthermore, if you look at Magnolia677's recent contributions, you will see that a large portion of them have been to articles on American cities; a topic area which you also seem to frequently edit. If you and Magnolia share a common interest, then there will inevitably be an overlap in the articles you edit. - ZLEA ^TǀC 23:50, 6 September 2026 (UTC)

I understand that. I see now that we might share similar interests. I do have a question though. Where was this response to me "accusing someone" when the original comment was made two weeks ago by someone else? I was responding to the original comment, though I only saw it now because your reply appeared in my watchlist (Magnolia's talk page is one of the many high-profile user talk pages I watch, and despite the humorous name of such behavior, it's not that weird) and I had somehow missed the previous comments (it's been a busy few weeks for me). That said, everything I said applies to anyone who suspects they are being hounded on Wikipedia. It is important to assume good faith unless and until it is beyond a reasonable doubt that the user is acting in bad faith. There are many good faith reasons to track another user's edits, so one must take care to consider all of them before making accusations of hounding. - ZLEA ^TǀC 00:19, 7 September 2026 (UTC)

Notable people inclusion criteria

I understand the WikiProject U.S. counties suggestion that people with a known city or town connection generally be placed in the more specific article, but I don't think that requires treating a person's connections to a town, county, and nearby city as mutually exclusive.

Virgil L. Highland has separate, well-documented connections to all three places. He was born at West Milford and grew up on his family's farm near there. He also has a direct Harrison County connection beyond his birthplace, having served six years as Harrison County clerk. His principal business and public career was based in Clarksburg, where he came in 1890, organized and served as president of the Empire National Bank, was involved with the Clarksburg Telegram and numerous other businesses, and maintained his home.

For that reason, I think there is a reasonable basis for listing him in West Milford, Harrison County, and Clarksburg. These are three different geographic connections: birthplace and upbringing, county-level public service, and the city where he lived and built his career.

The existing Harrison County list also includes numerous people whose specific municipality within the county is known, including people born in Clarksburg, Bridgeport, and Salem. If the intent is to change the county article so that anyone associated with a specific municipality is excluded, I think that should be discussed as a change to the inclusion criteria for the entire section and then applied consistently, rather than applied to Highland alone. Rock Creek

Hello Magnolia677! I hope all is well. I need a little help. In my sandbox i am creating a Rock Creek Badlands article (in Saskatchewan). The main watercourse through the badlands is Rock Creek. It appears to flow south into Montana and meet the Milk River, according to . Now, i like as much info as possible when i create an article so i can be as accurate as possible. In Canada, as you may know, CGND is a great resource. It lists all the Rock Creeks in Saskatchewan. Is there a comparable site for the US that would list all the Rock Creeks in Montana? I don't edit / create US based articles very often so i am not familiar with sources. The Rock Creek i am looking at isnt listed at List of rivers of Montana and the article already called Rock Creek in Montana is a different River (Rock Creek (Montana). Kingston tornado information

Hi Magnolia677. I'd like to clarify the tornado information that was removed from Kingston, Ontario.

The information I added was based on the Northern Tornadoes Project report:

• Northern Tornadoes Project — Two tornadoes in eastern ON on June 30

The report identifies an EF0 tornado in Kingston, with estimated maximum winds of 115 km/h and a 10.9 km track.

There was also a tornado warning for the Kingston area that day. This report includes information and a photo from the warning:

Reverting edits

Why are you reverting historically significant edits I made to the Portland, Oregon page? Your reason being it already has a page of its own? So do any number of other links. That is one point of Wikipedia. To create a dense linkage of topis.
