Template:SMRT code

You recently edited Template:SMRT code, and now, this template is emitting missing end tag errors for <span>. See, for example, Singapore Zoo, which uses two OK SMRT codes:  TE4   NS16  CR11  and one SMRT code emitting a missing end tag:  NS4  JS1  BP1 . I suspect the problem happens only when there are 3 sections. Please fix, get help, or revert. I wonder if Jonesey95 can help. —Anomalocaris (talk) 08:37, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

P.S. Curiously, in edit preview, the three-section SMRT code stays together, but when the page is saved, there's a line break between the 2nd and 3rd section. —Anomalocaris (talk) 08:39, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

hey, thanks for letting me know! i cant see the issue on my end but i will investigate once im home

i added in some span tags last minute to ensure proper wrapping but i mightve miscounted somewhere. oops Kagiura (talk) 10:50, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

Looks good, thanks! I noticed this  EW1  CR5   CP1  in East–West Line (Singapore) and thought the space was an error, and then I realized the space is not an error. Looks all good now. —Anomalocaris (talk) 19:34, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
