It appears that you may have done a mistake

[edit]

You deleted the article for the Russian Federation Council, I did NOT want for this to happen, rather the fact that I would prefer the name change instead. The Federation Council should be very notable with a lot of reliable sources in it's path.

I request instead for the article to be reinstated/restored with it's latest revision/edition being readded.

Cheers

DYK for Le brothers

[edit]

On 27 June 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Le brothers, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the actor-choreographer Le brothers taught themselves martial arts through YouTube videos and kung fu films? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Le brothers. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Le brothers), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Re: The Heavy edits

[edit]

If it helps, a lot of that was trying to follow existing consensus on Manual of Style regarding how the articles are set up, particularly in regards to layout and structure (a dev section, an appearances section, promotion and reception, etc) that helps give the articles a uniform style for the most part, with some variation. It also helps avoid single-paragraph sections, as these tend to be disliked per consensus over the years and seen better merged with another seciton if possible, especially in character articles.

As for the baseball bit, I was referencing inside baseball, shorthand for saying it's a minute detail that doesn't add much to the article except those really invested in knowing what's going on under the hood. Kung Fu Man (talk) 07:49, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I was not aware of a consistent manual of style for video game characters, but I was inspired somewhat by the layout on Tracer (Overwatch). I will try to address the single paragraphs by adding further content to the relevant sections. ―Howard🌽33 08:06, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yeah there are some outliers, though in general most articles try to follow the same format. I've worked with the person behind Tracer on a few articles as it were.
By the way, if you are doing more of these and have Engineer on your todo, check Bastion (Overwatch) and Torbjorn (Overwatch)'s reception sections, both have a source each that discuss the perception regarding his turrets that may help.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 08:13, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for informing me, I'll take a look at other articles to get a better reference. I also thank you for some of the edits as those were good ideas. ―Howard🌽33 16:28, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

July 2026

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Laocoön (Blake) when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you.
