Hi, I have a question about adding disclaimer to my profile. It is not linking to the draft for Solid Rock Radio, but rather it was linking to the page for Solid Rock Radio that had been deleted after being up for years. I submitted one myself for someone to review and publish. Any assistance would be appreciated! Thanks --Midi3cow (talk) 03:42, 12 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Midi3cow, and welcome to Wikipedia! I've fixed the disclosure for you :) Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 03:49, 12 October 2026 (UTC)

Arbitrator experiences
[edit]I came across User:HouseBlaster/Thoughts about the Arbitration Committee at Category:User essays on arbitration. As it has a fair amount of commentary on the arbitration process, I'm reluctant to link to it on the Wikipedia:Arbitrator experiences page, which I would like to have a tighter focus than the overall category page. Would you be interested in creating a separate page to help potential candidates gain an understanding of what it's like to be an arbitrator? Either way, thanks very much for sharing your views! isaacl (talk) 18:10, 14 October 2026 (UTC)

Hey! I’m working on a new draft article and was wondering if Ballotpedia could be used as a reliable source for Wikipedia.
Thanks 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓣𝔀𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 🍃 (talk) 01:20, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi 420yeahh! That is a great question. Ballotpedia is considered generally reliable for factual reporting on Wikipedia. You can see WP:BALLOTPEDIA for the entry on our "perennial sources" page. Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 01:24, 18 October 2026 (UTC)

Hey! Another question sorry to bother you but I’m using this suggested edits thing on my homepage and how would I know what part of the article needs references
Thanks Gain 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓣𝔀𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 🍃 (talk) 07:59, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi again, 420yeahh! What article are you talking about? Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 15:57, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
- Good Morning! Really it’s not a specific article it’s just on my suggested edits I’m on the medium level of suggested edits currently and I got to find refs for articles but I can’t tell if it really needs references because their is already all kinds of them, my ADHD makes this stuff confusing lol.
- 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓣𝔀𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 🍃 (talk) 17:58, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying! Help:Introduction to referencing with VisualEditor explains how to create a citation, and briefly mentions the four types of information which must have inline citations:
All quotations, any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged, and contentious material about living persons (whether negative, positive, or neutral) must include an inline citation to a source that directly supports the material.
In general, we avoid citations in the "lead" section unless they fall under one of those four required cases. But in the rest of the article, it's generally seen as better to have an inline citation to a reliable source than not. If you see a paragraph without a reference, boldly add one! Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 19:12, 18 October 2026 (UTC)- Oh okay thanks!
- 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓣𝔀𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 🍃 (talk) 19:22, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
- Just one more thing I promise lol, How would I fight off vandalism really quick to remove it like the other users?
- 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓣𝔀𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 🍃 (talk) 19:34, 18 October 2026 (UTC)
- Another great question! I started anti-vandalism by using wikiloop doublecheck to locate vandalism and Twinkle to revert it. Once you have a solid track record of reverting vandalism, you can apply for rollback, which will let you use some quite powerful tools like WikiShield. Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 22:21, 18 October 2026 (UTC)

Requesting copy of deleted page Frank Hamlin Blackmarr
[edit]Hi HouseBlaster!
I wanted to request a copy of the deleted article on Frank Hamlin Blackmarr who was an important figure on board RMS Carpathia when it picked up survivors of the Titanic. Unfortunately, the article was deleted because of another user AI or LLM-generated information to mess it up, leading to its deletion.
I would like to recreate it as it was before it was messed with. But I need the article's history to get back the sources, some of which were archived and hard to find on its own. Omnis (talk) 16:33, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Omnis Scientia! I have restored the article to User:Omnis Scientia/Frank Hamlin Blackmarr. Please make sure you comply with WP:LLMPRVOBJ if you choose to restore any content from the draft to mainspace. Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 16:42, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- Much appreciated! But now that I see the history of the article, I'm quite disappointed to see it was, indeed, mostly AI generated by the looks of it. Which explains why it was deleted in the first place. I assumed someone fused in a lot of AI information but, no it was all AI.
- Quite frustrating to deal with this stuff on what seems to be a daily basis now.
- I appreciate your help though! And rest assured I will comply fully with WP:LLMPRVOBJ. Seems like I will have to rewrite it from scratch. Omnis (talk) 17:02, 19 October 2026 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for mentoring. I'm a longtime professional in US healthcare and can use some guidance. See me on LinkedIn Chris Pilkington. --Christo1955 (talk) 22:01, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Christo1955, and welcome to Wikipedia! If you are looking for interesting medical articles to improve, I would suggest checking out WikiProject Medicine. One satisfying task is removing promotional junk from articles, and we have a list of medical articles that need help with that. Note that biomedical information needs high-quality sources (peer-reviewed systemic and literature reviews, not individual studies or sources not peer-reviewed). If you have any questions about getting started, please let me know :) HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 00:41, 20 October 2026 (UTC)
Question from FlyingScots (03:25, 22 October 2026)
[edit]Hi there HouseBlaster!
Is this wiki: "https://ttte.fandom.com/wiki/Thomas_the_Tank_Engine_Wiki" appropriate for a source, especially if its articles use official Thomas & Friends stuff? --FlyingScots (talk) 03:25, 22 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi FlyingScots! Wikis are almost never considered reliable sources; see Wikipedia:Reliable sources § User-generated content. Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 03:55, 22 October 2026 (UTC)
Hello! As someone who highly supports the WikiProjectKentucky, I decided I would make an article for a school that is registered in National Register of Historic Places that article being Nancy Elementary School I was just wondering can it be a standalone article or is it notable?
Thanks, 𝓕𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓣𝔀𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 🍃 (talk) 04:27, 22 October 2026 (UTC)
- That's a great question. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Common outcomes § Schools explains that most elementary schools are not considered notable, but WP:NHERITAGE implies that cultural heritage sites are presumed to be notable. I'd encourage you to ask at the Wikipedia:Teahouse whether an entry on the NRHP is sufficient to consider the site a cultural heritage one. Sorry I don't know the answer off the top of my head! Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 04:39, 22 October 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for the answer! I’ll definitely ask Teahouse :)

Question from 67 hundred (13:08, 23 October 2026)

Restrictions
[edit]Going back to my enacted motion and your comments about WP:MASSCREATE and the suggestion for a new RFC. MASSCREATE only applies to automated or semi-automated content page creation it doesn't apply to manual only creation unless WP:MEATBOT applies which does say "merely editing quickly, particularly for a short time, is not by itself disruptive". So given that I don't use any tools or AI and I don't plan on creating very short articles in a very fasr manor I don't think MASSCREATE applies.
With regards to the suggestion about a new RFC, I don't think this is appropriate for 2 reasons, firstly at the previous RFC 2 people said they didn't want anymore parish RFCs, secondly I see no reason why in any cases there need to be consensus to have these around 300 missing articles when it seems nearly everywhere else in Europe exists and I see no reason why I should have to get "permission" to be consistent with the rest of the world. I'm happy to accept the consensus that they shouldn't be created with a bot and that they need to be created with a reasonable amount of content but I do disagree that I need "permission" to create them as long as the creations themselves are acceptable. Which feels like it is one rule for the rest of Europe and one rule for around 3% of such units in England and Wales. Do you see how this feels like double standards?
I have discussed an issue I had at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK geography#2021 census from Nomis about census data for small parishes, another editor pointed me in the right direction.
What I think might be a good idea at the next appeal or even before is for us to see if we can recruit arbitrators, admins or otherwise interested editors to review and move drafts into mainspace rather than modifying my restrictions if arbitrators aren't happy with lifting my restrictions but are happy with this suggestion. If we could get 5 arbitrators they would only need to review around 60 each to complete (and something would be better than nothing even if not complete). If you look at User:Crouch, Swale/Missing parishes (2)#Leicestershire for example you can see that I and other users have created drafts but if you do move any into mainspace please make sure me and no someone else is the author. Maybe we should also suggest that I can't appeal for 5 or 10 years.
Otherwise in the next appeal I think we should look at (1) if I should be allowed to create mainspace DAB pages and redirects, (2) if I should be allowed to create a certain number of parishes for my project a week month etc either instead or as well as my 1 a month article on anything and (3) if my appeal times should be reduced to once every 5 or 10 years say or increated back to every 6 months. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:32, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
- What you think is appropriate and you have been told to do repeatedly are at opposite ends. Please implement all prior suggestions before thinking about appealing again. Izno (talk) 20:50, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
I generally agree with Izno. I do want to clarify two points: There is a double standard, but that double standard does not apply to parish articles. The double standard at play is that, because of your history, you are required to take extra care before creating articles at scale.
You should create a concise RFC asking a question like:Should these 300 parish articles be manually created at a rate of three articles per week, provided that they contain adequate content like Windermere and Bowness?
If that RFC passes, I'm sure the Committee would look favorably on an appeal. If you appeal without obtaining consensus, I'm sure the Committee will reject your appeal. Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 22:22, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
Question from Coolebissocool (20:35, 24 October 2026)
[edit]Hello Housbalster nice to talk to you again. As you may know I made my account in July of this year. When will I be able to edit protected Wiki articles? --Coolebissocool (talk) 20:35, 24 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Coolebissocool! To edit extended confirmed protected pages, your account needs to be 30 days old and you need to make 500 edits. You can check your edit count in Special:Preferences. Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 20:37, 24 October 2026 (UTC)
Borders in templates
[edit]Hi, I don't know how to fix borders in templates such as these. Please could you help?
- {{ Disestablishment category in country by century}} e.g. 19th-century disestablishments in France
- Compare {{ Establishment category in country by century}} e.g. 19th-century establishments in France which is fine
- {{DisestcatCountry2ndMillennium}}
- {{EstcatCountry2ndMillennium}}
– Fayenatic London 21:39, 24 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Fayenatic london! To fix this issue, you can add
<templatestyles src="TOC styles/styles.css" />to the template code (example). It's best practice to add {{Uses TemplateStyles}} on the /doc subpage as well. Best, HouseBlaster (edits • he/they) 21:59, 24 October 2026 (UTC)
