 The comment the reviewer left was:

The sources cited clearly don't meet WP:GNG, therefore we have to rely on WP:NACADEMIC to establish notability. I have seen the thread at the AfC HD to which the previous comment refers, but I don't agree that the arguments presented there sufficiently demonstrate that. To wit:

1. 1 requires evidence in independent reliable sources, not merely saying that this "is bound to have a significant impact". Please cite sources where independent experts in the field discuss Reif in those terms, or at the very least point to h-index or similar metrics.

1. 2 speaks of highly prestigious awards; this, IMO, refers to the likes of the Abel Prize or the Balzan Prize. None of the awards listed here have Wikipedia articles, so it is difficult to argue that they are particularly notable, let alone prestigious.

1. 3 what evidence is there that the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology is "highly selective and prestigious"? According to their website, membership is open to "all those with an active interest at any level in neuroscience". (It could be argued that, once Reif ascends to the organisation's presidency, that might meet #6, but he hasn't assumed that position yet.)
