 | Welcome to Ferien's talk page. I will generally respond here to comments that are posted here, rather than replying via your talk page (or the article's talk page, if you are writing to me here about an article), so you may want to watch this page until you are responded to, or let me know where specifically you'd prefer the reply. I will try to WP:PING you as well. Conversely if you are replying to something I've said on another talk page, reply there and include {{ping|Ferien}} to alert me. |

Question from Franklynblogger on User:Franklynblogger (00:18, 12 August 2026)
[edit]Hello, I want my page to be published --Franklynblogger (talk) 00:18, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Franklynblogger, I'm afraid Wikipedia does not accept spam or linking to other websites in the way you are doing. Please note editors are here to build an encyclopedia. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Thanks, --Ferien (talk) 12:02, 27 August 2026 (UTC)
Hello. I hope you're well If you could look into this edit and whether it's inline with wikipedia manual of style because I've attempted to edit it twice and I don't want to risk being banned from editing. --Mlk0 k (talk) 13:04, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
- Mlk0 k, hello, I also looked into the original edit you got the warnings for. For the record I wouldn't add quotes directly like that, I think they need to be added through templates, but I would like to ask Jackjd0 to elaborate, as he reverted your edit. In particular, why revert the whole edit, and rapidly escalate to threatening a new editor with blocks rather than suggesting what the actual Manual of Style violations were? Thanks, --Ferien (talk) 22:21, 16 September 2026 (UTC)

[edit]Murāqabah (مراقبة, lit. "attentive observation") is defined in Sunni Islam as a believer's persistent awareness that God is watching both their internal and external states. Its goal is the maintenance of constant righteousness and piety, encompassing thoughts and feelings internally, and actions and speech externally."Dorar, Muraqaba". Dorar. Retrieved 13 August 2026. In Sufism outside of mainstream Sunni contexts, it is practiced as a methodology for achieving a transcendent union with God through meditation.Ashraf ʻAlī Thānvī (2010). A Sufi study of ḥadith. London: Turath Publishing. p. 41. ISBN 9781906949044. OCLC 809075744. Within Sunni Islam, the origins of the practice derive from Qur'anic verses as well as the practices and teachings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad."Dorar, Muraqaba". - Hi Mlk0 k, welcome, that seems pretty good, though I should note references go inside of ref tags. In visual editor, you can press the Cite button and follow the steps there. If you need any more help please feel free to ask. Thanks, --Ferien (talk) 12:01, 27 August 2026 (UTC)

Hiya, Can anyone edit the pages? Or do you have to be a professional in a certain topic to be able to edit pages --AnyaOost (talk) 18:30, 3 September 2026 (UTC)
- Hello AnyaOost, welcome to Wikipedia! Anyone can edit most pages, unless they are protected when only users with a certain amount of edits or user rights can edit them. You don't have to be a professional in a topic but you do have to cite references. --Ferien (talk) 22:24, 16 September 2026 (UTC)
