1937 State Park moved to draftspace - fails WP:NSONG.

[edit]

An article you recently created, 1937 State Park, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your submission at Articles for creation: 1937 State Park (September 7)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by OhHaiMark was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
 The comment the reviewer left was:
Please use inline citations for your draft. Additionally, see if you could find some more reliable sources documenting the song.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Ways to improve Beach Life-in-Death

[edit]

Hello, EasternVirginia,

Thank you for creating Beach Life-in-Death.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The main references are almost all about the album Twin Fantasy (Face to Face) (which is notable), but almost nothing that is specifically on the song Beach Life-in-Death. No WP:SIGCOV and no appearance on any chary etc (i.e. WP:NSONG type criteria). Struggling to see that this individual song from the album is notable? thanks.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Aszx5000}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hello, how are you? Just letting you know that wikipedia is not a live results site, therefore no live updates are allowed. Wait until the match ends to update stats. Thanks! Gsfelipe94 (talk) 20:50, 15 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello! All apologies, this is my first time editing Wikipedia in a while. So sorry! EasternVirginia (talk) 20:56, 15 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Also, do not mark stat updates as minor, only edits that need no review (such as reversing vandalism or correcting spelling mistakes) should be marked as such. Raskuly 🐰 20:58, 15 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, SomeoneDreaming, left the following feedback:
This draft is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources.
  • Reliable sources include: reputable newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books from respected publishers.
  • Unacceptable sources include: personal blogs, social media, predatory publishers, most tabloids, and websites where anyone can contribute.
Replace any unreliable sources with high-quality sources. If you cannot find a reliable source for the material, it should be removed.
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for organizations and companies. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, excluding routine coverage like product launches, staff appointments, or financial reports and listings in databases or listicles;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Boltfish Recordings to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.
