City council members

[edit]

Please note there is a consensus at WP:USCITIES#Government to not include local elected officials to US city articles. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:22, 13 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for letting me know. I didn't know that was the consensus previously, and I stopped including them after your reverts. I was basing my inclusion on some other cities that did include elected officials—is there a particular size or term-length where it makes sense to do so? State Legislative Tables

[edit]

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the edits you have been making on state legislative pages are causing table formatting issues (at least on the Desktop versions). It appears to be due to one specific line of code. I have fixed it on the pages you have done so far but I wanted to make sure you were aware before you continued down the list. Noahp2 (talk) 14:32, 4 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, and apologies. When making the edits, I hoped to fix formatting issues that were showing up on my desktop, where the column headers weren't aligned with the columns, and if they're causing more issues, that wasn't my goal. If you have any idea what's causing the issue, please let me know; otherwise, please feel free to revert any of my edits. If you're referring to the |rowspan=2| line, I'll keep it out and see if there's a different solution. Dofrg (talk) 17:16, 4 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
No problem, removing that single line seems to fix the issue on my end at least. When looking at previous versions I don't see the formatting issue that you are referring to. Noahp2 (talk) 17:49, 4 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
It looks like it was an issue with the sticky headings setting that I mistook for a general issue. I'm not sure why it only affected those tables and not the other ones. My apologies! Dofrg (talk) 17:59, 4 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Your pagemove technical request

[edit]

Hi,

I went ahead and moved the page you requested for you (New York City Council LGBTQIA+ Caucus). Just an FYI for the future: since you are an extended-confirmed user, you can do these pagemoves yourself. Just click the kebab menu (three vertical dots) in the top right corner, click "Move", and then enter the new title for the page. Shocksingularity (talk) 20:48, 7 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
