DCWC September update

[edit]

The 2026 Developing Countries WikiContest has now been running for two months! We have seen tremendous improvements in the encyclopedic coverage of several underrepresented areas thanks to contributions from a wide range of editors. The coordinators would like to highlight some of the new participants this year who have been making notable contributions to the contest, including but by no means limited to:

With less than a month remaining until the end of the contest, it's time to get your last rounds of submissions over the finish line! Please consider picking up one of the review requests or eligible reviews to help out your fellow participants and earn some additional points in the process.

If you have any questions, please leave a message on the contest talk page or ask one of the coordinators: Arconning (talk · contribs), Generalissima (talk · contribs), Magentic Manifestations (talk · contribs), sawyer777 (talk · contribs), or TechnoSquirrel69 (talk · contribs). CS1 error on 2026 New York Mets season

[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page 2026 New York Mets season, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A generic name error. References show this error when author or editor name parameters use placeholder names, or the name of the newspaper or organisation, instead of the source's actual author or editor name. If no human author is given, the fields should be removed. (Fix | Ask for help). Below are the references causing this error:
    • News, A. B. C. "Alonso hitless in return to Queens but Henderson's homer eliminates Mets as Orioles win 2-1". ABC News. Retrieved 2026-09-17. {{cite web}}: |last= has generic name (help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 01:03, 17 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

BGRE (formerly Brookfield Properties)

[edit]

Hi AlphaBetaGamma, you were helpful in implementing an edit request on the Brookfield Properties article in the past. The company recently rebranded and is now called BGRE. There is currently an open request here: Talk:BGRE#Updates due to rebrand. Would you be willing to take a look? Thanks in advance. Purple Doors (talk) 09:15, 17 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
