Willow (musician)

[edit]

Hi 162 etc. — I saw your move of “Willow (musician)” back to “Willow Smith” with the summary “revert undiscussed move.” I understand the concern about an undiscussed page move. I believe, however, that the artist's established professional name of more than seven years should be considered as the article title. I’m going to restore the article to “Willow (musician)” temporarily so that we can discuss the title rather than continue moving the page back and forth. I’d welcome your input on the Talk page. Artist&Architect (talk) 18:59, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

  • @Artist&Architect: Hi, thank you for your contributions. Restoring an undiscussed edit that has been contested is not the way to go here; discussion is required. See WP:PCM. 162 etc. (talk) 19:08, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the clarification. Understood — I won't make further moves while the title is being discussed. I'll open a formal move discussion so that the question of “Willow Smith” vs. “Willow (musician)” can be considered under the relevant naming policies. My intention was to restore the title while discussion was taking place, rather than to circumvent discussion, but I totally understand the procedural concern. Artist&Architect (talk) 19:11, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, the stable title should remain unless and until consensus finds otherwise. 162 etc. (talk) 19:12, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

The wikipedia articles for B.A.L.L's album's being deleted

[edit]

hello, you'll probably forgot about this or will ignore it, but i have a question regarding the deletion of the wikipedia articles of the 4 studio albums that the band B.A.L.L Made, which is why?

I think the albums should have their own pages aside from the band itself, so not only more people can check out said albums and also look at the track listings and all that, because where else would they look? Discogs? I dont got that

Im not accusing you or trying to beef with you, im just curious and giving a reasonable solution. Please reoly soon, thank you DonutDurante (talk) 03:34, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Please see WP:NALBUM, which I linked in the relevant edit summaries. In order to have a standalone article, an album needs to have a level of significant coverage in reliable sources, which I don't believe was the case here. See also WP:N. 162 etc. (talk) 16:21, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
is there a way for the album's to have their own pages again?
Like sources from old magazines and such? DonutDurante (talk) 18:48, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Magazines can be reliable sources. See WP:RS. 162 etc. (talk) 19:30, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
okie dokie then, I'll see if I can find any old sources related to B.A.L.L and their work. Thank you for replying and take care :) DonutDurante (talk) 19:53, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Re: Making WP:VOTEs on move discussions

[edit]

You have been responding to discussions with votes that have no explanation, including most recently at Talk:Habibti (album) "no primary topic" being your sole reasoning, Talk:2B (Nier: Automata) "no primary topic" being your sole reasoning, Talk:Sarah Kerrigan "see Kerrigan (surname)" being your sole reasoning, Talk:Eala "no primary topic" being your sole reasoning, and many others.

Such brief statements are no different than if I were to say "this article rocks, keep" or "this article is bad, delete" in an AfD discussion. I would know that is disruptive to the entire process. I am trying to politely request that you add a rationale to any further !votes you do with regards to moves. You obviously know how, since there are plenty that DO have a rationale. Thank you. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 23:40, 18 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

August 2026

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Temiskaming Shores station when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Specifying |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= needs to be defined in the template in order to work. You can look at the documentation for the template being used, but it is also helpful to use the preview button before saving an edit; this helps find any errors that have been made and ensures that the values added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is highly recommended that editors use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions of if I can help explain further, please let me know! You can also contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 23:49, 27 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Titles of songs from musicals

[edit]

I have no particular attachment to the title for "Sue Me", but I have cataloged a substantial amount of deviation in these titles, and I think a wider discussion of how to title songs from specific works is needed. BD2412 T 21:54, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for reaching out. I note, as you did, that there is some inconsistency in such titles. WP:SONGDAB, as it is written today, prefers the name of the performer (or in certain cases, the songwriter.) Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (music) is the best place to discuss this further. 162 etc. (talk) 22:15, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have that in mind, I just need to find time to write up complete proposal, given variety of uses in the wild. BD2412 T 23:06, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Rebel Heart

[edit]

Do you seriously not understand that 1 Fall Wrestling's show at the venue on the same night was specifically confirmed to be titled Rebel Heart? Almost every reliable source in pro wrestling says it. Unknownuser45266 (talk) 18:08, 8 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Refractoring replies in Talk:Rebel Heart (professional wrestling)

[edit]

I have noticed you have violated WP:Refractoring talk pages which states "Refactoring may cause confusion if improperly applied to an ongoing discussion; an editor should take great care to preserve all such discussion and all relevant details to its context." You moved several replies to your recent section and broke the discussion in the talk page. I'm not sure where you were going with that edit but your refractoring has only diluted your point. At this point, I have to leave this message here as this has gone beyond just Talk:Rebel Heart (professional wrestling) and now puts your edits into questioning. Unknownuser45266 (talk) 19:14, 8 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

As for the discussion at Talk:Rebel Heart (professional wrestling): RM discussions should be about the article's title. This disagreement on article content is off topic and should be in its own thread. "(...) discussion should be broken down into new sections or subsections (...) when conversation begins to diverge into a number of separate points." I did not alter any of your comments when doing so. 162 etc. (talk) 19:30, 8 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Monday Night Hockey

[edit]

I disagree with Monday Night Hockey currently redirecting to NHL on Prime because Prime will no longer carry Monday night games -- and it will go to Sportsnet+. Since you strongly feel that version is a WP:CFORK instead of a WP:BROAD, would converting the redirect to a dab page like Wednesday Night Hockey be acceptable? Would creating a Monday Night Hockey (Sportsnet) page similar to Wednesday Night Hockey (Sportsnet) also be acceptable to you? I am however not really in favor of adding the Sportsnet' current Monday Night Hockey incarnation to Hometown Hockey because it is a different format. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (talk) 18:52, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thank you for your contributions.
I think the current setup, with NHL on Prime covering both the Monday and Wednesday incarnations is best. You could make the argument that both Prime Monday Night Hockey and Prime Wednesday Night Hockey have standalone notability - see WP:SPLIT if you're interested in starting such a discussion. 162 etc. (talk) 18:58, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Also, unrelated to Wiki: Are you kidding, we can't even watch Monday games on TV anymore? FFS. 162 etc. (talk) 19:00, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Ok, if converting Monday Night Hockey to a dab page is acceptable to you. Removing that redirect was my main concern, because SN just announced earlier today about the move to the streaming-only games, and I would assume most readers will now be looking for Sportsnet content instead of Prime. Discussions about splitting all these pages can be made at a latter date. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (talk) 19:53, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Please don't forget to fix the incoming links, thanks! 162 etc. (talk) 20:03, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Done (also, unrelated to Wiki: IMO, if the CRTC allowed ESPN to have some greater ownership/influence/financial backing to help Bell operate TSN than the 20 percent ESPN has now, or another company outside of Canada to have greater influence/ownership/financial backing to help another competitor, I do not think Rogers/Sportsnet would essentially have a monopoly on most sports media rights as it has now). Thanks. Zzyzx11 (talk) 20:36, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Revert at Starlight Tours

[edit]

What exactly was wrong with the category? EllieDellie (talk) 21:01, 18 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thank you for your contributions.
These incidents are mostly allegations, not confirmed by any court. The only conviction in any such incident is for "unlawful confinement", which is certainly not synonymous with killing. 162 etc. (talk) 16:32, 19 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
"Killing" is not a legal determination, and wikipedia has consistently used it in situations where certain actions can be logically understood to have caused death, but not specific charge has occurred. In some cases, after convictions occur, other words end up replacing it, but precedent does not require a conviction for the word killing here. EllieDellie (talk) 15:54, 20 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
No reliable sources refer to these incidents as killings. 162 etc. (talk) 15:56, 20 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm pretty busy with university stuff right now, but if you remind me in a few days I'll look for some. If I don't find anything, that's that. EllieDellie (talk) 15:58, 20 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Krypteria / And Then She Came

[edit]

FYI, the renaming back to Krypteria is completely unsourced in the article, and wasn't even mentioned in the article at the time the RMTR move request was submitted. The band's website is at http://andthenshecame.com/ and says it's about "And Then She Came" and doesn't seem to mention either Krypteria or the new song. The other website link http://krypteria.de/ is an abandoned domain name. — BarrelProof (talk) 15:31, 25 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Feel free to revert if you believe that "And Then She Came" is the current WP:COMMONNAME. Thank you for your contributions. 162 etc. (talk) 15:40, 25 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Although I don't think I would have performed that renaming, I don't think I will revert it. This seems like a low-notability topic, and the new song does seem to exist on YouTube and Facebook if you search for it, although there is no independent coverage (it's not even on AllMusic). Probably the band just doesn't have any resources to update the website, and probably it's not entirely the same band and the website is now owned by someone who isn't affiliated with them anymore. And since Krypteria was a previous name for the group, it's not an entirely inappropriate name for the article. — BarrelProof (talk) 16:26, 25 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Why do you insist on laying a giant turd on the page? It's a stub page, but it's a notable topic. Your tag is wrong. Binksternet (talk) 21:13, 20 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thank you for your contributions. The {{notability}} template is certainly not out of place on an article which has almost nothing in the way of reliable-source citations and was WP:BLARed without apparent objection for almost ten years. Per WP:WNTRMT, the template should remain while the other RM is ongoing, and until evidence of significant coverage as the subject of multiple, non-trivial published works whose sources are independent of the artist and label is shown. 162 etc. (talk) 21:27, 20 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
