Greetings!

Would you like to help me to navigate a website on Turkish? I don't speak Turkish, but I want to edit a reference on a Wikipedia article that is in Turkish, so a translation help will be appreciated!

Sincerely, - MahmoudAbbasAlDilfti (talk) 02:20, 15 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi! So sorry for the late response. Sure, I'd love to help if I can! How can I help you? 0959kedi (talk) 17:05, 16 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
That's fine!
The reference that I meant is in the "Bursa" article. Check out the article's reference no. 4. It was citated from the official website of the Istanbul Karagöz Puppet Foundation. Here's the page.
I want to add the certain part of the page that contains information about the oral story that Karagöz and Hacivat are actually based off of real person from Bursa. But the website is in Turkish and I don't really believe Google Translate.
Thanks for the help!

Do you want me to add it into the Turkish Wikipedia page of "Bursa" or do you want me to translate the mentioned webpage/a certain part of the webpage? 0959kedi (talk) 21:02, 17 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Well, I want you to insert that certain part of the article that contains information about the oral story to the quote box of the reference, the original quote in Turkish is put in the "quote" box, while the translated quote in English is put in the "translated quote" box.

And to clarify, the change will be made in English Wikipedia. Sincerely, - MahmoudAbbasAlDilfti (talk) 21:58, 17 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
