Hey there! I'm known around here as TechnoSquirrel69. I'm a musician of various kinds, a rock climber, an amateur hiker, and a terminal epistemophile. I may also edit Wikipedia on occasion. The following page is an entirely unbiased and not-at-all-self-indulgent summary of my contributions to this project.
I created this account in January2021 and wrote a couple of small articles, but only became an active editor in March2023. I have to thank a random teenager sitting in the row in front of me at a presentation I was at a few months prior, who unknowingly became the impetus for my return to editing by completely ignoring the speaker and furiously browsing through articles on their laptop instead. Since then, I've maintained an ever-evolving balance between writing the encyclopedia and performing behind-the-scenes "gnome work". I was elected by the community to be an administrator in June2026.
↑I've been passionate about this topic since the beginning of my editing journey and will likely continue to write about it until I retire or I achieve my ultimate goal of promoting every major article covered by the Studio Ghibli task force to good article or featured status.
