About me
[edit]Hello! I am a Computer Science graduate, with a deep, active interest in epigraphy, historical documentation, and regional Indian history. I enjoy uncovering and preserving local histories that might otherwise be overlooked, specifically by analyzing and transliterating medieval inscriptions.
My editing focus
[edit]My work on Wikipedia primarily focuses on:
- Expanding and verifying the regional history of villages in Andhra Pradesh (particularly in the Prakasam and Nellore districts).
- Documenting medieval Telugu and Tamil temple inscriptions.
- Tracing the historical footprints of the Kakatiya dynasty, the Kondavidu Reddi kings, and the Vijayanagara Empire through local stone edicts and copper plate grants.
- Rescuing and digitizing public domain archives and archaeological surveys.
Articles I've worked on
[edit]Here is a log of the pages I have created or significantly expanded:
- Madanur - Created article; added 12th and 16th-century inscription history and demographics.
- Ethamukkala - Expanded medieval history and epigraphical connections.
- Pakala - Added Kakatiya-era temple history, Tamil inscription transliteration notes, and British-era salt production statistics.
Tools and resources I use
