Hi. My name is Marek Poláček, and I'm 30 years old. I originally come from Ústí nad Labem, a town or city from Northern Bohemia (Czechia), but nowadays I live in Ostrava, a city in Northern Moravia and Silesia. I'm active mostly on Czech language Wikipedia as a translator of foreign language articles into Czech (mostly from English, but with the aid of AI translation and other experienced translators also from other languages, like German or Russian). Recently I also started contributing to the newly created Interslavic Wikipedia. I'm also active on Wikimedia Commons as a contributor of various media (mainly photography and tweaking typos and other small errors in file descriptions and media themselves). Sometimes I also contribute to CzechWikivoyage.

This is list of articles I founded. The first version of course doesn't have to match the current version. All people can edit however they like, even if it may be just typo fi or change of a part of the article or the article as a whole.

More hobbies would be photography (some of my photos may be in my gallery, They're also in Commons), level design, webdesign, 3D modelling and playing card games. I mostly translate articles from foreign mutations to Czech on Wikipedia as of now, but I would like to contribure with my own knowledge and skills in my own hobbies and professions, with references to other literature and Internet sources. I'm a student, and I'm beginning to create content on YouTube and Twitch.
Born in 1996, I never had a chance to witness the past as the time of political dissidents and prisoners and dictature behind the Iron Curtain, honesty, I don't really care. What I find beautiful on this past is the music and movies. Popular music was best basically in this so called "golden era", it's at least twenty years, at most fifty, and this music is still played and is still quite many people's favourite. I mostly like Czech movies, comedies from 70's and 80's, but also foreign movies contain many greatest gems.
I won't write out the entire list of my favourite singles, that would be too long to read, allas I don't really remember most of their exact names and I don't quite know if they have their own articles on Wikipedia. I instead write list of my favourite bands and artists, with list of my most favourite songs of theirs (order is rather random, not particularily around the favouritness scale):
Like the right fan I also have my favourite movies. Apart from the very obvious one known by everybody, I rather list those not so much known (again, more of a random order):
