I am a math PhD who currently works as a Data Scientist. I'm interested in a wide range of subjects, some I have expertise in, some I don't. These include mathematics, machine learning, linguistics, genetics, and science more generally.
My focus in editing is typically on relatively small changes aimed at making articles either more coherent, more understandable to a larger audience, or less likely to lead to misconceptions. This is especially true for articles that personally confused me some time in the past.
Recently, I have been doing a lot of work trying to make it easier for readers to find the gene/protein page they're looking for, and make it clearer when they're on the correct page. This mostly involves making redirect pages, updating page names, adding disambiguating hatnotes, and adding infoboxes.
