I'm an editor interested in technology, Apple history, and podcasting. I mostly write and improve articles about people and projects in that area. I enjoy collecting and flying kites, and have a Newfoundland and Blue Heeler. Currently having fun researching Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad.
I have a family member with Friedreich's ataxia, and it was through that
connection that I came to edit in this area. In reading the existing coverage,
I found that some of it had fallen out of date, particularly around current
research and the resources available to patients and families. My aim is to
help readers find the clearest, most current information: accurate
explanations, up-to-date research, and any new resources available to the
community. I'm grateful for the work other editors have already put into these
articles and see my contributions as building on that. For transparency: my
connection to this topic is personal, through a family member, and I have
participated in and donated to rideATAXIA/FARA as a supporter. I have no financial
stake in the topic. Where I ever have a connection that could be a genuine
conflict of interest, I'll disclose it and
use talk-page edit requests rather than editing
directly.
