This user account is a bot operated by Balance3641 (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. The bot is approved and currently active – see the relevant request for approval.

This bot runs on Wikimedia Toolforge. It runs on the nervousbot tool account (k8s-status · k8s grafana).
Administrators: If this bot needs to be blocked due to a malfunction, please remember to disable autoblocks so that other Toolforge bots are not affected.

NervousBot currently provides notifications for cross-language article links. By default you will only receive one notification, and only for articles you create. To receive additional notifications you can opt-in to future notifications. Please direct any feedback to the Talk Page, which is monitored by Balance3641.

Opt in

There are two ways to receive messages from NervousBot, both switched on by adding the {{User:NervousBot/subscriber}} template to a page in your userspace. You can use your talk page, your user page, or a subpage of either such as Special:MyPage/NervousBot subscriptions.

By default, including the template will notify you about articles you created, and send the notifications to your talk page. However, you can configure both the articles you receive notifications for and the destination.

The bot can be configured to send notifications to the page the template on is by adding |here=yes to the template.

Articles you create

Adding the {{User:NervousBot/subscriber}} template will subscribe you to articles you were the original author of. If you do not want to receive notifications for these articles, you can add |created=no to the template.

Articles you choose

To receive notifications for specific articles, whether or not you are the original author, add them to the template as wikilinks.

For example:

Each article must be listed as a wikilink, and the square brackets are required. Articles listed without the square brackets will be ignored.

Shutdown

To shutdown the bot, change the text on the page User:NervousBot/shutoff to anything other than running.
