Background & Interests

[edit]

I am a Principal Engineer at Cisco, where I have worked since August 2004. Previously, I worked in Network DevOps at the Serbian ISP VeratNet. My early roles at Cisco included work in the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) supporting NMS and CDN technologies.

In 2008, I moved into an escalation engineering role supporting Cisco product Business Units, working on complex and high-severity customer issues. The role acts as a bridge between engineering and QA teams and customer-facing organizations such as the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and Cisco account teams, focusing primarily on P1/P2 escalations affecting critical accounts.

My work also included data-center load balancing platforms (CSM/ACE) and NX-OS systems including the Nexus 3000/7000 series.

Since 2013, my work has centered on mobility technologies and escalation troubleshooting across mobile core networks, alongside recent exploration of Hyperfabric.

I also co-authored the official Cisco ASR5000 / ASR5500 Troubleshooting Guide.

My personal technical interests include AI-assisted development, high-throughput GPU computing, and computational visualization.
