User:Ned Scott

I'm not that active these days, but I'm still around. Feel free to send me an extra poke here or via e-mail for anything, trivial or important (or to just say hi).
E-mail: Special:Emailuser/Ned Scott

I live in Arizona, USA. My main focus on Wikipedia is working on articles about entertainment and fiction (particularly anime and science fiction, which is probably not a big surprise), though I do enjoy working on much more than just those kinds of articles. Lately I've been more active in meta space than in article space, focusing on discussions and technical features such as templates. I'm also very interested in applying some of the methodology of Wikipedia to other wikis around the internet, which lead me to start up WikiProject Transwiki.

Unfortunately my personal time is being consumed by some other stuff lately, and I'm not nearly as active as I once was. Don't let that stop you from leaving me a message or asking for assistance if you feel I can be of some help! I will always be a Wikipedian, and look forward to always having at least some level of contribution to this great project. I also plan on getting more active again to at least finish a number of projects/ideas that I've either had or was involved in.

Talk:Coat of arms of Albania

For the historical Albanian royal coats of arms of 1929–1939 and 1939–1943, should this article use the archival-based PNG illustrations, the modern SVG heraldic reconstructions, or both with appropriate identification? Jilligate (talk) 09:15, 10 October 2026 (UTC)

Talk:Provo Canyon School

Should the Provo Canyon School article describe and/or be categorized as a ‘therapeutic boarding school’ or ‘boarding school’ in addition to the existing description as a ‘residential treatment center’? RfC restarted 04:30, 10 October 2026 (UTC)

Talk:Clavicular (influencer)

Should the March 2026 mugshot (below) of Peters be used as the image in the infobox of this article?

Talk:Neil Peart

The discussion above about the heading picture has gotten nowhere, but I do think there is grounds for the picture to be changed, so I'm starting the RfC to get a larger discussion. Question: Which picture should be used as the main image for the infobox of the article Neil Peart?

Talk:Choerry

Should the lead of this article continue to state that Choerry “is a member of Loona”, or should that present-tense wording be revised based on the sources currently cited in the article and discussed above?

This RfC concerns whether the sources cited in this article support the present-tense wording in the lead. Wider uninvolved input is requested. APDuck (talk) 08:23, 27 September 2026 (UTC)

Talk:Lolicon

Would it be appropriate to be more direct, in MOS:LEAD by clearly stating that lolicon refers to simulated child pornography? This matter also concerns shotacon. Discussions elsewhere have spawned from this matter. Issac I Navarro (talk) 17:24, 26 September 2026 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Capital letters

The discussion at Talk:Capitalization of internet#Requested move 15 September 2026 has been closed with a consensus to lowercase internet/Internet (as in the internet/Internet, not in the generic internetworking sense) in the title of Capitalization of internet. The RM was closed as only applying to the title, with a broader discussion needed to establish broader advice. This was naturally recommended as the best place to do that.

So, should the internet/Internet be capitalized or uncapitalized? –Maltazarian ^{ᚾparley $\lor$ investigateᛅ} 15:10, 7 October 2026 (UTC)

Talk:Car

What car should be depicted on the main image of this article?

Note: The point of this discussion is to determine which car should represent the page based on its relevance (not based on the ammout of "good images" it has, nor to choose the specific image). Gigman (talk) 13:57, 7 October 2026 (UTC)
