Introduction

[edit]

I'm marsdeat (/ˈmɑː(r)z.di.æt/ MAHZ-dee-at, MARZ-), or Andrew, a Wikipedian from the United Kingdom. I've been editing Wikipedia (and wikis in general) since at least 2005, though I focus the bulk of my time and effort on the extreme ends of the editing spectrum: minor SPAG/copyediting on the one end, and full page rewrites/restructures on the other end.

I have a background in mathematics, physics, and linguistics, but I probably spend more of my time editing articles relating to education in England or Nintendo video game consoles. I also occasionally do some translation and cleanup between English and French-language pages and projects.

I'm autistic, ADHD, and queer, and use they/them pronouns.

[edit]

I am user marsdeat across Wikimedia projects, and on most other platforms too, but my user pages on my most-used Wikis other than English Wikipedia are linked here:
