I am Kongo96, a Wikipedia contributor with a strong interest in Central African music, particularly Congolese rumba and soukous from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Congo Kinshasa) and the Republic of the Congo (Congo Brazzaville).

I joined Wikipedia to help improve and expand coverage of Congolese popular music and its artists. My main focus is on creating and developing biographies of Congolese musicians, updating discographies, and enriching articles related to the history and development of rumba and soukous.
