My name is Jayant. I am 19 years old, and I am from India. And I live in Visakhapatnam, a city on the South Eastern side of India. I was born on 4th December, 1988.
I like to read a lot, and I like to ask lots of questions. I also play lots of sports including basketball and table tennis. I love to travel but I have travelled outside of my country only to Kuwait, where I spent more than 2 months, in the summer (it wasn't pretty:-). One day I hope I will have the opportunity to travel to much more cooler places. I have travelled a lot in South India. I must tell you this is because I live in the state of Andhra Pradesh, which is in South India. I have also travelled a bit of North India as well, like Delhi, Agra, Himachal Pradesh and some more. Although I am not always able to travel where I want, Wikipedia allows me to explore our world and its history.
I like to read mysteries, philosophy, and a lot of Science fiction.
I love music and I play guitar. I was in a band named Cosa Nostra (Though my parents didn't know about it!!). Now I play in a metal band called Mephistopheles. I play the bass guitar in the band. My music preferences are metal, rock, indie, and most recently Post-rock.
We recorded a song. You can listen to it here if you want to.
Its just instrumental though. And the drums are through a drum machine. I played the bass, and another band mate
played the guitars.
Space Shuttle Enterprise was the first orbiter of the United States' Space Shuttle program, built by Rockwell International for NASA and unveiled on September17, 1976. Originally named Constitution, it was renamed following a campaign by Star Trek fans, taking the name of the fictional USSEnterprise, itself named after the World WarII aircraft carrier USSEnterprise. Lacking engines and a functional heat shield, Space Shuttle Enterprise was incapable of spaceflight. It completed eight crewed flights in 1977, during five of which it was released from a modified Boeing 747 and glided to a landing. Plans to refit it for orbital missions were abandoned, and since 2012 it has been displayed at the Intrepid Museum in New York City. This 1976 photograph shows Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry (third from right, in dark brown), members of the Star Trek cast, and NASA administrators attending Enterprise's rollout ceremony at Rockwell's plant in Palmdale, California.Photograph credit: NASA
