Editing Again

[edit]

Well, I'm back at it again. I don't expect to make a huge contribution, but I thought I'd stretch my fingers again. Jarod (talk) 12:17, 12 March 2026 (UTC)

Music Theatre

[edit]

Hi all. I participate in my local music theatre company (page to be created), and I'd love to have a userbox that says something like "I particpate in musical theatre!". The closest I could find, (so far anyway) is the acting userbox shown above. If you have anything, or could make one, please let me know! Jarod (talk) 13:19, 12 March 2026 (UTC)

I see that there isn't a page for my local theatre company, so I'm starting and editing one. I will state that as of today I am the current President and Chair of the Board, as well as a performer. While I hope to provide objective content I welcome corrections if they don't meet Wikipedia's guidelines. Jarod (talk) 13:27, 12 March 2026 (UTC)

I should clarify that my position on the board is NOT paid, it's volunteer -- if that makes a difference. Jarod (talk) 15:58, 3 September 2026 (UTC)

Software Engineer

[edit]

Wow, this page needs some cleanup from the Canadian content point of view. If I've made some factual mistakes, please let me know on my talk page. At the least, this is how engineering works in Canada:

  • The Provinces (and Territories) are responsible for licensing Professional Engineers in their own jurisdictions.
  • The Canadian Educational Accreditation Board certifies the educational content of Canadian engineering university programs - if a program does not have approval, (most likely) a graduate will not be able to be licensed.
  • Foreign trained and foreign certified engineers can apply for certification in the Province or Territory in which they wish to become certified - each jurisdiction has their own requirements in this area.
