Samuel Salazar-Diaz (born January 23, year undisclosed), also known as Sam, Sami, or Sammy,[a] sometimes known as IShowSami, is a Mexican-American part-time maintenance worker, Wikipedian, and a "superstar student" (quoted by his science professor). He gained prominence in his institution due to his absurdly high height and good physique, and his family friends thought he was older than his current age because of it. He also expresses interest in poetry and creative writing and is taking courses at his institution. In February of 2026, Salazar faced controversy with peers in his institution due to his abnormally habit of high-speed running and his "janky" handwriting. He admits to running on campus to reach his class on time and that he has got into some accidents sometimes and may have caused some damage on his way, and that his handwriting is sometimes janky because he fast-paces everything to get done on-time.

[edit]Stemming from Winter 2025-Spring 2026, Salazar proceeds to try an elect a username that best suits himself, he eventually selected “IShowSammy” as his online username across many platforms.
Later in the fall of 2026, as the alternative spelling started to become more common, Salazar is in the process of making all his handles consistent going by “IShowSami”.
The name was decided as a derivative of the handle of notorious IShowSpeed and his nickname, Sami.

[edit]On Wikimedia Commons, Salazar uploads some pictures of his to there and is adhering to Commons policies, rules and copyright. Recently in the spring, he started converting files that use raster to an SVG. He also participates in some deletion requests, and tags files based on their original licensing status as per Commons policy.
Prior to this, he was facing copyright issues and has addressed them.
