About me

Hello there. I am here because I like writing about stuff I enjoy, just like the person probably reading this (assuming anyone has bothered to visit my user page). I am mostly interested in movies, television and video games, especially franchises like Star Wars, Marvel Comics, DC Comics and Assassin's Creed, so that's what I usually do edits on.

I mostly focus on the storytelling, or in-universe aspects, of these franchises, so expect to see a lot of edits from me about plot summaries, character descriptions and what not. I also have a decent fascination with history (after all, what is history if not real-life storytelling), so I might occasionally contribute to pages about historical subjects. Editing Wikipedia is an occasional hobby of mine, so don't expect frequent edits, but I nonetheless try to be helpful where I can.

Username

My username is probably a dead giveaway of my roots as a (formerly) Star Wars megafan. General Grievous was my favorite Star Wars character for a long time, and what better way to honor him than by making the username I use pretty much everywhere a reference to him? "But of course just naming yourself after a fictional character is lame and unoriginal, so why don't I add an edgy spin to it by replacing Grevious with the in-universe slur for droids?" said my middle school self. As you can probably tell, my intelligence peaked at that age, and I've been stuck with this username for years because all my creativity died the moment I became an adult.

So, if anyone ever asks you about the Tragedy of General Clanker the Not-So-Wise, tell them that he was a teenager in a galaxy not so far away, who came up with a cringe name and was forced to watch as that became the universal slur for robots, meaning he will never be able to tell someone about his name's actual origins without being laughed at.
