Richard Garriott travelled to the International Space Station with a Travel Bug on October 12, 2008.[1][2][3] Along with the Travel Bug, Garriott hid the first geocache on the station in locker 218 on the Russian segment of the station.[4][5] He placed the Travel Bug on the exterior of the cache.[2] The Travel Bug was picked up by Richard Mastracchio 5 years later,[2] and is now displayed at the Geocaching Headquarters.[6][7]

Richard Mastracchio travelled to the International Space Station with a Travel Bug on November 6, 2013.[8] The event was organized by geocacher Robert Cizaukas and sponsored by the Waterbury Police Activity League,[9][10][11] and the Travel Bug was given to Mastracchio in September by a 5th grade class at Chase Elhttps://www.thedrum.com/news/ad-the-day-ikea-s-bl-haj-shark-comes-life-sell-tiny-apartments-tokyoementary School in Waterbury, Connecticut as a way to teach them and 11 other schools in Waterbury about space travel.[2][10][12][13] The Travel Bug had 11 hitchhiker tags attached to it, representing the schools participating in the event.[9][13] Groundspeak allowed geocachers to host events on the launch date to celebrate, and anyone who attended got a digital souvenir for the event.[2][14] The Travel Bug was in space for six months until the return flight on May 13, 2014, where during the trip he found Garriott's cache and picked up Garriott's Travel Bug.[15][16]

Travel Bug Racing

Travel Bugs can be used in travel bug racing, where a group of geocachers will release bugs on the same day with the objective to either travel the longest distance or to score points by completing specific objectives.

Travel Bug Hotels

Travel Bug hotels are geocaches made specifically to house Travel Bugs and other trackable items. They serve as a point for trackables to be picked up and dropped off. Owners of these geocaches sometimes make a unique theme for the hotel, add decorations, or make dioramas or scenes within the cache.[18][19]

Mars Perseverance Rover

A geocoin (TB5EFXK) was on the Mars Perseverance Rover, attached to the "Scanning Habitable Environments with Raman & Luminescence for Organics & Chemicals" (SHERLOC), a robotic arm of the rover.[20] Also attached to the arm was space suit materials and a Martian meteorite.[21] The idea to incorporate geocaching and the rover was brought up by NASA worker Dr. Marc Fries and his son, Wyatt. They wanted help from someone else who geocached, so they brought Dr. Francis McCubbin. They originally wanted to hide a geocache on Mars, but they decided otherwise because no one would find it. They also had the idea of hiding an EarthCache on Mars, but after talking to Matt Dawson[22] (the Education Programs Manager at the Geological Society of America),[23] they figured a Mars EarthCache would break the guidelines for EarthCaches. Dawson was able to get McCubbin in touch with Groundspeak, and they came up with the final idea of placing a geocoin on the Perseverance Rover.[22][24] The rover was sent to Mars on February 18, 2021,[25] and geocachers are able to receive a digital souvenir if they discover the trackable.[26]

Locke, Bracey, and Morr (2014) investigated players in an EC community through an online survey about their reasons for starting EC, their reasons for continuing EC, and what they thought they learned from EC. The survey results show that EC is an engaging science-learning activity where people can put their curiosity about the outside world into action. According to the research findings, the two main motivational factors for EC are seeing rare and unusual Earth features and players seeing something new for themselves. In addition, the beautiful scenery, hiking, and the fact that EC is not very physically demanding are reasons for starting the program. The motivations for continuing EC are learning about the Earth, gaining knowledge about geology, and the desire to be outdoors. When participants were asked what they learned from EC, the majority stated that they learned how the Earth was formed and its processes, how the Earth has changed over time, and the Earth's composition (Locke et al., 2014). In EC, gamification elements are used, similar to geocaching, to keep players engaged and increase their satisfaction with the game. For example, in the EarthCache Master Program, to become a Bronze player at the first level, it is necessary to visit three EC sites in a different country and complete their assignments/tasks. To advance to the second level, Silver, six EC sites must be visited, and the player must develop and publish their own EC. The first Travel Bug was released by Jeremy Irish (the founder of Groundspeak, the parent company of Geocaching) on 30 August 2001 titled "Devil Duck: Envy". The Travel Bug is attached to a Rubber duck with devil horns. Irish also released 6 other Travel Bugs all centered around the seven deadly sins, being Sloth, Pride, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, and Greed (Although the Greed Travel Bug was placed in a cache that wasn't listed on geocaching.com).

Also "map" doesn't need to be wiki linked.

The sentence "The beach is one of the main attractions of the complex." needs to have a citation.

I don't see where motels are mentioned in source 13. Could you point out where they are mentioned? If not, please update it with a new source that does talk about the motels.

While the 21st source does reference the water park at the resort, it doesn't mention the Munsu Water Park. The article must include a source that also references the Munsu Water Park stating that the Myongsasimni Water Park is one of two water parks in North Korea other than the Munsu Water Park. Also, it is preferred that the acronym "DPRK" is replaced with "North Korea" so people who don't know what DPRK stands for beforehand could understand it.
