Introduction

I am currently attending Western Washington University, studying linguistics and computer science, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in linguistics, accounting and computer science. I am interested in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, speech recognition, programming language semantics and cognitive science, specifically where they all apply to logic-based sytems for computational linguistics. Outside of academics, I am an avid player of Dungeons and Dragons (and father of a very large but failed campaign), I watch tons of anime and tinker with computer hardware when I get the chance to. I am also very interested in creative writing. I am currently learning Japanese and Russian, with the intent of eventually becoming fluent. That is the intent, anyway.
