Me on the internet! (This is the internet persona I use)

Hi, I'm CatPencil!

[edit]

It's great to meet you! You may also know me as Fırat or CatPen.

I spend a good amount of my free time contributing to THE WIKIPEDIA in both English and Turkish. Wikipedia is one of the things I enjoy contributing to, and I especially like working on articles where I can research sources, improve existing material, and learn something new in the process.

If you ever notice that I've made a mistake, feel free to tell me! I may possess a very fragile, yet persistent, determination, but I am always willing to learn.

My editing interests

My main areas of interest are:

Iced Tea Shenanigans

ALMIGHTY AND WONDERFUL ICED TEA

(Not serious btw)

Hail to the lovely, awesome, pretty and objectively BETTER THAN WARM TEA, Iced Tea! I have been passionate and thus I've been in the noble pursuit of discussing the greatness that is iced tea. (Not to be confused with our longtime rival, warm tea.)

CatPencil yaps about his favourite show The Amazing Digital Circus

[edit]

Compared to the masterpiece that was Episodes 7 and 8, the finale was low-key kind of a letdown. It felt like they basically said, "We need an episode that delivers the heartwarming Studio Ghibli message we were supposed to give immediately." Bubble is a fan favorite, and I think after Episode 8, a lot of us low-key expected Bubble to have a much bigger role..maybe even standing against Caine or something. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

Jax is a complicated case, I absolutely loved her being trans, however fandom? I wouldn't say the same, I mean holy shit, I've seen trans people saying "it was forced" despite creator has been hinting throughout the show; to my confusement, I thought about why Jax being trans was so refused, even by trans people in the community; as per I think it comes from the fact that jax is..not really what most people expect. She's what one would call too much of an jerk, it's one of those characters where you would actually think they're a bigot, and jax frankly has been a bigot, I think main reason why the refusement also arrived from the community is beacuse they simply can't fit someone like jax.

Jax is still a horrible person though! People who think she's good with her actions to other people is delusional in my opinion, and people who relate her actions to her being trans are bigots.

I ALSO LOVE MICHAEL KOVACH!!!

CatPencil's opinion on the movie Project Hail Mary

[edit]

Okay, I’m very calm, alright? I’m going to calmly express the emotions I felt after closing my laptop. I felt fulfilled and happy. I was like a small sun filled with enormous hydrological levels, but eventually, I felt it: my autism. I needed someone to talk to at length about this, and the panic kicked in.

When I arrived at my sister’s room, I broke down and fell to my knees. I was rambling and crying at the same time. I couldn’t yap to anyone about this, and as my sister watched me in horror, I started reciting the entire movie while crying about how it didn’t get a sequel. I was heartbroken. Such a good thing had ended. I thought it would last forever, and the worst thing was, the ending was really, really good. So, I couldn't even complain about the ending either.

I eventually fainted, and I just woke up a few minutes ago, so yeah, I’d say it was a good movie.

What do I generally like?

[edit]

Everyone has their own "internet culture." I grew up in the weird, autistic corner of the internet with FNaF, Bendy, Tumblr, yaoi, and all sorts of niche communities. So if you did too, we'll probably match each other's vibe. No need to drag this section out with a massive list of every game or interest I have that nobody's going to read anyway.

Self criticism by CatPencil (me)

[edit]

Most of the time, I can make bad decisions. I always want to be involved in something exciting so I can forget that not everything is, and sometimes I need to take more responsibility. I also tend to be a people pleaser.
