I began working on Wikipedia when I was a fellow at the CDC, working on a pesticide-poisoning surveillance program. I worked to improve and expand pesticide-related articles as an extension of my learning experience. Currently, I am interested in helping with article translation - I speak English, Portuguese, and French. My professional training in public health has provided me with a basic knowledge of medically-related topics, so I can contribute to those articles as well.
