My name is Crystal and I'm here as the Wikicurious Program Manager for Wikimedia NYC.

Wikicurious teaches newcomers how to edit Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons. Its success in New York led to national expansion in 2024, where we’re supporting new Wikimedians with the training, resources, and strategies to build strong, local editor communities.

My background is in program and event design, artist and talent engagement, cultural organizing, and the intersection of social impact and entertainment.

I'm a new editor myself, but a longtime reader. The Wikipedia rabbit holes I fall into the most are articles related to pop culture and politics.
