An Introduction

Hey, I'm bungle491! I started editing Wikipedia a few years ago, correcting typos and editing articles here and there from temporary accounts. A while later, after playing catfishing (video game), the best daily game in existence (even better than Wordle and Connections), I started adding categories to articles, in order to eke them over the 4 category minimum for suggestions.

Since then, I've created this permanent account, and have dove deeper into the being a Wikipedian. I made terrible new categories that have since been deleted, started editing more, and drafting articles. While my first drafts were embarrassingly bad to say the least, I've since gained experience in the art of notability and reliable sourcing, writing several new articles, including Hubert Rochereau's preserved room, a good article.

On Wikipedia, I help by reviewing new pages, reverting vandalism, writing articles, and contributing in deletion discussions. My subject areas of interest are math, novels, music, and film.

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar

I've been seeing a lot of your edits as of late, but you've recently beat me to reverting so many bad-faith ones that I felt I had to say something. So thanks for your contributions to counter-vandalism! You're cleaning up the encyclopedia, and it hasn't gone unnoticed. By the way, it's interesting to note how we both created our accounts on the same date and also happened to have gone into the same area of work. Great minds think alike, I suppose. On 6 August 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hubert Rochereau's preserved room, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a French soldier's room has not been touched since World War I? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hubert Rochereau's preserved room. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (Hubert Rochereau's preserved room), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Your good article nomination of the article Hubert Rochereau's preserved room has passed; congratulations! See the review page for more information. If the article is eligible to appear in the "Did you know" section of the Main Page, you can nominate it within the next seven days. Please also consider reviewing somebody else's nomination to help keep the backlog down.
