That is how I came up with the user name Brian Dorf. Clever, huh?

In no way, shape or form, am I related to actor Stephen Dorff. The names are not spelled the same and well, it's not my last name.

Although it would be exceptionally cool to have "Village" as my last name, it sadly is not. Sorry, I'll explain...The German word Dorf means village.

I am not from the municipality of Andelfingen in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland otherwise known as Dorf, Switzerland.

I have zero affiliation with the 1987 motion picture starring Tim Conway as Dorf called Dorf on Golf.

There is a film festival in Vinkovci, Croatia called Dorf. Uhh...yeah. You know what? If you are actually interested in learning about the festival, you can do that here. This is getting out of hand though. It's time to move on.

Music. More specifically, Hardcore punk. I grew up just outside of Washington, D.C. and fell right into the scene as a teenager. I've shared the stage with some greats such as Next Step Up, All Out War, Stout, Together We Fall, Wake Up Cold, Undermind, No Innocent Victim, 10 Yard Fight, Breakdown, No Justice, Mushmouth and E.Town Concrete just to name a few. It is my passion. This runs thru my veins.
