History

The original Tampa Bay Terror competed in the defunct National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) for two seasons before folding: 1995–1996 and 1996–1997. The team's home games were held at the Bayfront Center in St. Petersburg. In the two seasons that the Terror played in the NPSL, the average attendance was 1,950 per game.

In 2025, a new iteration of the Terror began play in MLISX, the second division of Major League Indoor Soccer. On July 31, 2026, the Terror were promoted to the MLIS for the 2026-27 season.[1]
