Merge proposal

As a keystone is just a special type of voissoir it make sense to talk about them both in the same article rather than have the fragmented. --Mcginnly | Natter 13:13, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Keystone (capstone) certainly has big symbolic importance beyond the piece of stone. Merge will force creation of a Keystone (metaphor) article, so there will be no saving. Викидим (talk) 20:44, 2 February 2026 (UTC)

Arch and voussoir

Article in part confuses the arches and voussoirs. In particular, the section "Symbolism" is really about arches, not the stones they are made from. I suggest to delete all this material. The arch symbolism might be appropriate in Arch (though a better source than a truly obscure thesis is very much desired). Викидим (talk) 21:41, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
