1970

[edit]

It should be noted that the 1970 series, and indeed later series were not exclusively Formula 5000. Ferrari never built a F5000, the 246T Lawrence used to win the 1970 series was a 2.0 litre car I think. Certainly not a F5000. --Falcadore 11:44, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the 246 was certainly not an F5000; 246T was Ferrari-speak for 2.4 Litre V6 Tasman. Cheers GTHO (talk) 00:04, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Champions adjustments

[edit]

Discussion about adjusting the champions and stats that follow. Mainly due to the latest series champions being altered a few times. Jack Shewan 97 (talk) 01:30, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for not putting this bit in the initial article talk. I’m rather new to the Wikipedia format with this in particular.
I did change the 2024 and 2025 champions a month ago due to them being incorrect (when looking at the 2024 and 2025 S5000 series linked to the table).
Prior to them being removed for a reason I don’t know.
I hope that adding this could help make it easier to talk about the more recent series, and whether they should be added back. As well as whether the championship should be the correct ones, or the champions prior to the adjustment a month ago.
Many thanks. Jack Shewan 97 (talk) 01:38, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

FROC

[edit]

The Tasman Cup will be awarded to the highest-placed Antipodean (Australian or New Zealander) upon the completion of the first two rounds of the season.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.130.161.250 (talk) 06:13, 16 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
