Retcon?

Is this game retconning the events of Super Meat Boy Forever or does this take place before that? I'm just asking because Nugget is absent from 3D's trailer and the game's goal returns to Meat Boy rescuing Bandage Girl just like the original game. There aren't many sources, period. The game is still in production, and you don't usually get that many outlets talking unless it's highly anticipated. Maybe we'll get another Team Meat interview, but that's unlikely for now, considering we just had one recently with Creative Bloq (which I already cited), so the info about Nugget's role in the game will probably be closer to the release, most likely in 2026.
