Possessive

[edit]

Is it Stephens, Stephens', or Stephens's? Drutt (talk) 23:23, 2 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stephens's. It's a possessive of Stephens which is Stephens's. --Aranae (talk) 23:31, 3 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oops, I changed it without looking at this talk page. I'll change it back. Both are correct according to Saxon genitive, but the 's is preferred. I didn't know that. Stephens' could mean the possessive of plural Stephens. Voxii (talk) 22:58, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
