The claim that the film is regarded as one of the best superhero movies of all time isn’t valid. I too question this claim, and I have removed it from the lead until we can establish that it belongs there. This is the sentence I removed:

"The film is widely regarded as one of the greatest superhero films ever made, and serves as a blueprint for future films in the genre."

The sources cited in the lead did not support the claim that Spider-Man 2 is "widely regarded" as one of the best superhero films. A bunch of rankings and lists doesn't count, that is synthesis. One source—the Independent—claims that Spider-Man 2 is a blueprint for the genre, but I can't tell if that is one writer's opinion or if it's based on a broad understanding of attitudes towards the film.

Is it by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment or Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment?

My region 1 fullscreen DVD release has the Sony logo on the back, but plays the CTHE logo (Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment) in it.
