Recent changes to 'Spare vote' entry

I made some edits in Jan 2025 which were deleted. But since then much of that deleted content has reappeared, having been edited with better references etc. Thank you to whoever did it. The head paragraph starts with a reference to a website dualvoting.com which makes no reference to preferential voting or to ranking, both terms being prominent in that head paragraph. I think therefore that this first paragraph is misleading. I have discussed it with the dualvoting.com author Bjorn Benken and we agree that improvement is needed. How should we propose improved text? Can I talk or exchange with the person who will decide whether changes are acceptable? Or should I just edit it and test the response? Thank you.
