Edit Request: Add foundational work on Categorical Quantum Mechanics and Sheaf-Theoretic Contextuality

[edit]

As the subject of this article, I would like to suggest the addition of two highly cited research contributions that are currently missing from the biography text. According to Google Scholar, reference (1) currently has 1238 citations, while (2) has 948 citations.

I propose adding the following paragraph to the section on my research:

Proposed Addition

[edit]

Since 2000, Abramsky has contributed extensively to high-level mathematical methods for quantum computation and quantum information. In 2004, with Bob Coecke, he introduced categorical quantum mechanics, a framework that reformulates quantum mechanics using dagger-monoidal category theory and graphical string diagrams. In 2011, together with Adam Brandenburger, he introduced the sheaf-theoretic approach to contextuality and non-locality, using the mathematical framework of sheaf theory and sheaf cohomology to structurally analyze and quantify quantum contextuality.

Please use the following standard references to verify and support these additions:

If volunteer editors can assist in implementing these updates, this would help to ensure that the article accurately reflects my primary research contributions. ~2026-57024-87 (talk) 14:59, 24 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
